Context
Tasked by our client, I crafted a platform for Nike's live training sessions. Integrated with a third-party video solution, it enhances training, aligning with Nike's needs and our client's goals.
Design solution
In my multifaceted role, I spearheaded the comprehensive design process, starting with gathering intricate client requirements. From there, I crafted the user experience (UX) strategy, delving into both UX and user interface (UI) design, as well as UX copywriting. The final step involved a meticulous handoff to our engineering team, ensuring the seamless execution of the envisioned design.
Results
The inaugural launch achieved remarkable success, garnering 1,200 users who seamlessly accessed events and engaged through live session inquiries. This triumph set the stage for the product's sustained utilisation over the next two years, with regular quarterly usage underscoring its enduring efficacy.
Design Process
The design process began with meticulous requirement gathering, followed by thorough research on existing live video tools with chat functionality. Subsequently, I crafted wireframes, collaborating closely with developers to select the most suitable UI framework, opting for Bootstrap for its simplicity and scalability potential. The final design, with pixel-perfect specifications and refined user flows, was seamlessly handed over to the development team for implementation.
